Install
FleetFoot runs on macOS 12 or newer on Macs with Apple silicon.
Download and install
- Download FleetFoot (a
.dmgof about 5 MB). - Open it and drag FleetFoot to Applications.
- Start FleetFoot from Applications.
Keep it in Applications
FleetFoot updates itself in place. A copy started right from the disk image cannot update.
The first start
FleetFoot is not notarized by Apple yet, so the first time macOS stops it with “Apple could not verify FleetFoot is free of malware”. Allow it once:
- Click Done in that message.
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Scroll down to “FleetFoot was blocked to protect your Mac” and click Open Anyway, then confirm.
After this macOS remembers your choice. Updates that FleetFoot installs itself do not ask again.
What next
- Bring your collections over from Postman
- Or click Try the sample collection on the start screen: it has requests to httpbin.org that show variables, auth inheritance and different kinds of responses.
