Settings

Open the settings with ⌘, or FleetFoot → Settings…. Changes apply right away.

Language

FleetFoot speaks English and Russian; English is the default. Choose the language in Appearance → Language. The whole window switches at once, the menu bar too, and so do the reports of the next imports.

Your data does not change with the language: names of collections, requests and variables stay as they are.

Appearance

  • Theme — light, dark, or the same as macOS.
  • Response — below the request or beside it. ⌘⌥L switches it too.

Requests

These apply to every request. A request can change redirects, certificate checks and cookies for itself in its Settings tab.

SettingWhat it does
Follow redirectsfollows 3xx answers to the new address, up to 10 times
Verify TLS certificatesrefuses servers whose certificate is not trusted; turn it off for self-signed certificates
Cookieskeeps cookies from responses and sends them back, see Cookies
Timeoutstops a request after this many milliseconds; 0 means no limit
HTTP versionHTTP/1.1 like Postman, HTTP/2, or Auto to agree on one with the server

Updates

Check automatically looks for a new version soon after the start and every few hours. See Updates and your data.
